Avec la construction d&rsquo;un r\u00e9seau topologique fiable et de haute qualit\u00e9, Infrabel fait un pas de plus dans cette direction. Les experts SIG de Nordend ont une fois de plus fait la diff\u00e9rence gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur soutien technologique optimal.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Infrabel ne manque pas de projets pour l&rsquo;infrastructure ferroviaire existante en Belgique. L&rsquo;op\u00e9rateur ferroviaire belge dispose d&rsquo;au moins deux cents dessins qui, ensemble, constituent une repr\u00e9sentation sch\u00e9matique de l&rsquo;ensemble de notre r\u00e9seau ferroviaire. Seulement, tous ces dessins ne sont pas toujours correctement reli\u00e9s entre eux. Ainsi, les tentatives pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes de connexion manuelle d&rsquo;anciens plans sch\u00e9matiques \u00e9taient truff\u00e9s d&rsquo;erreurs. Cependant, le principal probl\u00e8me de ces anciens plans sch\u00e9matiques r\u00e9side dans l&rsquo;absence d&rsquo;une couche repr\u00e9sentant le r\u00e9seau topologique. Par cons\u00e9quent, les plans ne pr\u00e9sentent aucune jonction ni s\u00e9paration, par exemple. Par ailleurs, les tunnels et les ponts semblent souvent se chevaucher, ce qui donne lieu \u00e0 des interpr\u00e9tations erron\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Infrabel a donc choisi d&rsquo;ajouter une couche de donn\u00e9es topologiques au r\u00e9seau, en compl\u00e9ment des plans sch\u00e9matiques existants de son infrastructure ferroviaire. Selon Kurt Decock, chef de projet senior SIG &amp; Innovations chez Infrabel, il s&rsquo;agit essentiellement d&rsquo;un exercice d&rsquo;enrichissement des donn\u00e9es. \u00ab\u00a0Nous voulions traduire les donn\u00e9es d\u00e9j\u00e0 disponibles dans nos dessins &#8211; les voies et aiguillages qui prennent la forme de lignes et de points &#8211; en un r\u00e9seau topologique. Nous collectons ces donn\u00e9es depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, et ce, quotidiennement. Mais en r\u00e9alit\u00e9, il ne s&rsquo;agit que de donn\u00e9es en vrac. Elles peuvent \u00eatre visibles sur un dessin sous la forme d&rsquo;une ligne, par exemple. Mais les utilisateurs d&rsquo;Infrabel ne peuvent \u00e9videmment travailler qu&rsquo;avec les donn\u00e9es dont ils disposent. Si un \u00e9l\u00e9ment particulier est totalement absent, ils doivent pouvoir l&rsquo;ajouter manuellement au dessin.
